TRANSFORMERS

Heatmasters’ transformer type heating units are designed especially for on-site use. The heating units are compact and light for easy transportation. Models with an HM-Rigel26 controller enable fast and easy documentation of the work. Transformers are dimensioned for primary connection of 63 A, with a common power supply on site. Output power of standard models are thyristor controlled but by the order can be delivered with contactors.

Apparent power of a symmetric three-phase transformer is calculated with the following formula:
S = x U x I, S = Apparent power [W]
U = Voltage [V]
I = Current [A]
Maximum power with 400 V and 380 V primary voltage and standard size 63 A fuse are:

S = x 400V x 63A = 43 648 VA = 43,6 kW
S = x 380V x 63A = 41 465 VA = 41,5 kW
